FY26 APPROPRIATIONS REQUESTS

Senator Fetterman’s Congressionally Directed Spending (CDS) and Programmatic Appropriations request forms are now OPEN for submissions. Deadlines for all submissions are currently May 2nd but is subject to change depending on release of the President’s FY26 Budget Request. It is highly recommended that you read the “FY26 CDS Guidance” document in full before submitting a Congressionally Directed Spending request. We also recommend that any CDS request submitted for Senator Fetterman’s review also be submitted to your other respective Members of Congress for their consideration as well, provided they are accepting such requests. Note that for the FY26 cycle, no CDS requests in the Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies (LHHS+Ed.) or Financial Services and General Government (FSGG) are eligible for consideration by the U.S. House of Representatives. For any questions, please email appropriations@fetterman.senate.gov.

FY26 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) REQUESTS

Senator Fetterman’s NDAA forms for submitting budgetary and military construction funding requests are OPEN until 3 calendar days after the FY26 President’s Budget (PB) is released. NDAA policy and language requests are CLOSED. Additional details regarding the PB will be found here when published. Please note this deadline may be subject to change. We recommend you regularly check this page to ensure submissions are completed on time. As a reminder, Congressionally Directed Spending (CDS) projects are not eligible to be submitted to the NDAA. The NDAA exclusively pertains to relevant defense and military programming. For any questions, please email appropriations@fetterman.senate.gov.

**NOTE: Congressionally Directed Spending (CDS) projects are not eligible to be submitted to the NDAA as the NDAA is not a competitive grant program. Senator Fetterman’s portal for FY26 CDS applications are not open yet. If you are interested in submitting a FY26 Appropriations request, please sign up for updates using the Appropriations Interest Form below.**

The Senate Appropriations Committee requires senators to post their congressionally directed spending item requests on their public websites, as well as their financial certification disclosures attesting that the senator does not have any financial interest in any.
